Healthy Cranberry Sauce

This is an easy recipe that adds a lot of flavour and colour to any meal. Since it is made with fresh cranberries and honey, it is a healthy alternative to prepared cranberry sauce that is loaded with sugar. It has a nice tart taste that goes well with poultry or pork, and it can be used as a dip for chicken nuggets.  It is also delicious over banana coconut pancakes.

What you need:
4 cups fresh cranberries
½ cup water
½ cup honey

What to do:
Combine honey and water in a medium saucepan. Heat over medium heat until honey dissolves. Add cranberries and stir occasionally until sauce boils and cranberries split open. Serve warm or cold. Cranberry sauce will thicken as it cools. Enjoy!
