Banana Ice Cream

banana ice creamWe have made this simple dessert many times this summer and we have even served it to our dinner guests. It is so tasty on its own, but it can also be dressed up in so many ways – with strawberries, raspberries, maple syrup, peach slices, honey – the options are endless!

What you need:
Ripe bananas

What to do:
Peel bananas and put them in the freezer until you are ready to use them. When you are ready to make banana ice cream, let them thaw for 30 minutes at room temperature. Mash them until they are smooth. A hand mixer also works well to make a nice puree. A few drops of water may be added to make it even smoother. Serve Immediately.
