One day I was experimenting in the kitchen, trying to come up with a new snack for our little one. I was pleasantly surprised at how well these chips turned out. They are so delicious that they are almost addicting. I was never a big fan of sweet potatoes, until I tasted these simple little chips. Although they soften in your mouth, we still break them into small pieces for our little guy.
2 small sweet potatoes
What to do:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Wash and peel sweet potatoes.
Use a vegetable peeler to slice the sweet potatoes very thinly.
Lay them close together on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. (They will shrink in the oven.)
Sprinkle with sea salt.
Put them in the oven until they just start to turn brown, approximately 10-15 minutes.
Remove promptly and put into an airtight container while they are still warm.
They will turn crispy once they are cool.
